January 26 We hired Dan to perform the complete package including design, requests for proposals, bid negotiations and finally the construction supervision. I believe this decision not only allowed Dan the control to bring his vision to fruition, but it saved us a lot of work. Dan brought a long list of interested bidders to the table generating competition which I’m sure saved us some money.
I spent half my life in the construction industry and never met a design professional so passionate about his work. Dan truly loves what he does and it’s amusing at times to watch how animated he can get. I think he was more excited watching the crane install the Bismarck Palms than we were.

May 26 ·  Finding Daniel from Dameron Designs ended several months of frustration. We thought it would be easy to call some landscape contractors and have them suggest changes to our front and side yard landscaping, maybe do a little drawing and give us an estimate of costs for the project. Most didn’t even return our calls. One provided a rough sketch with many plants that were dormant during the times we were in Florida. After our first discussion with Daniel, we knew we had someone that would spend time upfront to understand our vision, then help us formulate a plan to make it happen. From his in-depth questionnaire, to our face-to-face meetings, to the completion of the professional, detailed drawings, Daniel focuses on making sure the design meets your wants and needs and fits into your budget. We also had Daniel solicit bids and oversee the installation by the landscape contractor. He was active and hands-on during the entire installation process. From their interaction, it was clear Daniel has a great working relationship with the contractor. Dameron Design turned our tired and dated landscape into a coordinated, bright, modern looking, all Florida Friendly work of art. Daniel is professional, energetic and enthusiastic in his work. February 5 ·  As chairperson of our HOA Landscape Committee I worked closely with Dan Dameron of Dameron Designs on the renovation of our Clubhouse area landscaping where we needed to provide a memorable first impression. We were particularly interested in a Florida Friendly landscape with a tropical look and lots of color. My committee and I conducted much on line research, visited several landscaped locations and held in depth personal interviews before recommending Dameron Designs to our HOA. Once hired, Mr. Dameron spent several hours with us walking the area, discussing our plant options, and giving ideas to enhance the landscaping. We were impressed with his enthusiasm and passion for his work and came out of each meeting feeling energized and excited about the upcoming project. After the final landscape design had been approved Dan furnished very professional and detailed design copies for the landscape installation. Dan designed a landscape and irrigation plan for the customer and handled the bidding process with the contractors. I found him to be very helpful to both the customer and my firm in determining what the customer wanted and providing this as a scope of work for bidding and contracting the job. Many times, I find customers unsure of what is the proper plant material or irrigation to sustain the material and they go with the best salesman or cheapest price believing all are created equal. With the professional eye of Dameron Designs, he handles this process to sort out the materials and ensure the customer gets what they pay for. I found his design to be extremely accurate and the few minor adjustments in the field was made with his approval for the betterment of the project.
